Effective September 1 2015 the State of Texas requires everyone that sells scrap is required to have an issued Cash Card. Bring your ID – such as a valid driver’s license – with current information including your address to your scrap dealer. They will make the card and mail to the address provided. Expect up to a week to 10 days for the card to arrive.
